It is a way to visually preserve moments, feelings or experiences in your life that might otherwise be forgotten. It all started in 1976 when Marielen W. Christensen began keeping a book of photographs in new devices called sheet protectors. By 1980, she had assembled more than 50 of these books, and she was asked to display them at the World Conference on Records in Salt Lake City. Since then, the door of scrapbooking has been opened and flooded by people who wanted to find unique ways to remember their pasts and experiences.
