In this world of endless signs and written instructional information it is very important to be able to read what is going on around you and for us to teach our children the importance of, not only reading, but reading well. Reading is an essential part of learning. It has always been at the core of how well a child is able to learn. That said there are still thousands of people in the United States alone, including children, that are not able to read.

This free educational video series will show you tips, techniques and information about how to teach your children to read and what methods are most useful in certain cases. Our expert, not only explains how children comprehend reading, but also ways to make it fun for them and gives you tips on where and when reading to your child is most effective.

Expert: Ann Marie Kennedy is a certified and award-winning teacher. She has successfully taught in and out of the classroom with programs that involve reading, literature and writing to and for children, pre-teens and teenagers. Kennedy has also received a Teacher Recognition Award from The National Foundation of The Arts.
