Leslie Burnick graduated from Auburn University in Alabama with a degree in music education. She has studied with Anthony Gigliotti, former principal clarinetist with the Philadelphia Orchestra, Judith Donaldson of the Alabama Symphony, and Robert Greenleaf from Auburn University. Leslie is the principal clarinetist in several community bands and orchestras in the Philadelphia area. She teaches many instruments privately including clarinet, flute, and saxophone.
