Summary: Modern American football began in 1874 and has since been a popular sport for competitive teams of all ages. The excitement of a Monday night gridiron game works down from the bright lights, over a roaring crowd, and through the voices of top sports announcers like the late Howard Cosell or John Madden. In fact, football is now the most-watched sport in America, easily beating out America’s national pastime, baseball.

In this instructional video series, an expert will show you how to defend the pass with a dime football defense. The dime formation is used when the coach is certain that the offense is going to throw the football, and so he arranges the secondary and defensive backs to react accordingly. From positioning the linemen and linebackers to rushing the quarterback, our expert will show you everything you need to know about the Dime defense. Several defensive back formations will be covered as well, such as the cover one and cover two, and the benefits of a zone defense versus a man-to-man defense will be discussed. Defense wins championships, so figure out how to run your football team's defense today!
