Summary: Breastfeeding is the feeding of an infant or baby with milk from a woman's breasts. Babies have a sucking reflex that enables them to suck and swallow milk. With few exceptions, human breast milk is the best source of nourishment for babies. National governments and international organizations promote breastfeeding as the best method of feeding infants in their first two years and beyond. Most U.S. states now have breastfeeding laws, which allow a mother to breastfeed her baby anywhere she is allowed to be.

Breastfeeding etiquette is a concern for new mothers, despite laws that may allow for them to breastfeed anywhere. So, how does a mother nurse her baby in public without worrying about being embarrassed, or embarrassing others? In this free video series, our expert will show new mothers several options of what to wear while breastfeeding, and how to adapt to being in different locations, such as the park or in the car. You'll also get some advice on where to breastfeed and how to alter your clothing to hide your baby.
