Summary: There is some small debate about the origins of the Tarot Deck. Many relevant sources mention the introduction of Tarot Cards to Europe in the 14th and 15th centuries from Egypt. It is the
major arcane, the trump or picture cards, that most people associate with Tarot and divination. Standard playing cards originate from the other half of the first Tarot decks, the
minor arcane. Divination became a popular phenomenon in Medieval culture, with the Church playing a smaller role in persecution than many believe. Other supernatural practices, like channeling and “charming” (removing warts or diseases with short verses or potions), were common, everyday occurrences.
This free video series introduces viewers to the Golden Age Church and the practices of channeling and laying out Tarot Cards. Minister, healer, channeler, and animal communicator Arianha Bialon offers her perspective on the attitude of the Golden Age Church, which focuses on Jesus’ ways of getting closer to nature and taking responsibility for one’s own connection to the creator. She emphasizes gender equality and a removal of hierarchy from the priesthood. Arianha also talks of animal whispering, goose and otter cards, the voyager deck and many types of energy or sources for channeling.
About the Expert
Arianha Bialon is a minister in the "Golden Age" Church, in Sedona, Arizona. She is also a channeler and a Tarot Card reader. Arianha's desire is to spread the message that we all can be connected with the Source and channel information. We don't have to believe in an unseen force; we can try it and experience it right now. The Golden Age Church lives out this same attitude, teaching that Jesus preached for people to connect to their Inner God through being close to God and God's creation.
