Summary: Have you ever been to a concert with no lighting. Or a photo shoot or movie where lighting was not even thought about. Chances are you haven't. Lighting is very important for cameras and such but it is also very important to set a mood for concerts and shows. Colors, brightness and placement all have a huge effect on the show quality and validity. LED lights are great because they are cheaper, harder to damage, give off no heat and use less power than par cans or conventional lights. They aren't as bright but the benefits outweigh the downsides in most cases. LED is a great choice of lighting for rock bands or Djs that want a larger effect for their performances. In this free video clip series our expert, Kyle Saylors, will walk you through all the aspects, parts and options for LED lights and how to use them. He will offer tips on how to work around damaged lights and how to fix them as well as how to set up preset patterns for a light show and all the benefits and downsides to LED lighting.
