Summary: Follow the Queen is a variation of stud poker characterized by an ever-changing wild card. Once a participant turns over a queen card, the next card to be turned over becomes the wild card, at least until another queen is flipped over. Then the next card becomes the wild card, unless another queen is encountered before the end of the game. Wild and unpredictable, the game is more popular in home games than in casinos, but is always fun, especially if that last queen turns your lousy hand into a winner.

About the Expert

Expert: In 2006, Reg Brittain won $25,000 on Fox Sports Network's Poker Dome Challenge, and came close to playing for $1 million in the championship. Like many, Brittain has benefited from the poker boom of recent years. He learned poker at age nine and he has been playing cards ever since.
