Summary: With the popularity of televised celebrity and professional tournaments, Texas Hold’em has become THE poker game to play. Go to almost any game room gathering or Vegas casino and you'll find a hold'em challenge in action. In this community card game, players are dealt two cards each, which they combine with three cards from the table to make their hand.. The dealer begins to play a hand face-up on the table, and players go around betting.

In this free video series, semi-professional player Reg Brittain teaches you strategies for playing tournament level Texas Hold’em. He tells you how to play various hands, when to change the pace of a game and when to be aggressive. You will also learn about such advanced tactics like bubble play and stealing blinds. If you are serious about improving your poker game to the competitive level, this video series is the place to start.

About the Expert

Expert: Like many, Reg Brittain has benefited from the poker boom of recent years. He learned poker at age 9 from his “Papaw”, and he has been thankful ever since. In 2006, Reg won $25,000 on Fox Sports Net’s Poker Dome Challenge, and he came that close to playing for $1 million in the championship. Reg believes poker and life should be fun. If something isn't fun, why do it? Throughout poker and throughout life, Reg does all he can to make sure others have fun. But, when it’s time for Reg to take your chips, of course, he takes your chips, nicely.
