Expert: Lori Schneider is a chef and owner of Figs Catering in Austin, Texas. She began her career in restaurants and food while at studying at Texas A&M University. From there she completed a BS in Nutritional Sciences and a BS in Food Science in 1999 and 2000, respectively. She began her career in research and development and culinary training. Thirteen years later, she is still working in the food industry. In 2004 she attended and graduated from Le Cordon Bleu's Texas Culinary Academy in Austin, Texas.
