About the Expert
Grady Johnson has over twenty five years of painting experience and is a master painter. His experience includes industrial, new construction and remodel painting. He started as an apprentice working in an apartment maintenance service company, training for two years in indoor and exterior painting. This foundation was primarily in the remodeling industry, which continued to be his preferred work. The money in industrial work blossomed in Florida in the late eighties, and for several years Cypress Gardens (including the famous Esther Williams swimming pool) and Boardwalk and Baseball benefited from Grady's professional painting skills while he was with Harwood Painting.
Several years later, Grady started his first painting company, the Painting Gap, with his helper and friend, Patrick Sayers.
