Expert: Nina Kate is a native New Yorker who now resides in the city of Los Angeles. She received her Bachelor's Degree in philosophy at the University of Colorado at Denver, and it was in college that she became drawn to the world of acting. She performed in a number of student films, and after graduation she picked up and moved to San Francisco to focus on acting and writing. In addition to appearing in several festival-screened (and a couple of festival award-winning) films, she also wrote movie reviews for Bay Area Casting News. She recently made the move to Los Angeles to further pursue her acting career.
Nina became a vegetarian at the age of 12, when she realized that she loved animals too much to eat them. Since then, cooking and playing around with great vegetarian dishes has been one of her favorite pastimes. She is constantly experimenting with different cuisines, yet sandwiches have long remained one of her favorite staples.
