Summary: Christmas is a time for family and rejoicing, for celebrating the good things we have in life and remembering the birth of Jesus Christ to a gentle teenage girl named Mary and a faithful carpenter named Joseph. It’s also a time for getting frazzled and burnt out, shopping for things your kids don’t want or need, and fighting your neighbor for that very last toy on the shelf, the one you know you have to get…or else. Once you’ve regained your composure—and finished your shopping list—you may find it a little easier to get back into the true spirit of the season. You might even put up the Christmas tree and spend an evening with the family decorating it with some of your favorite ornaments, perhaps a few passed down from your own childhood.
In this free video series, learn all about collecting those treasured Christmas tree ornaments. These unique objects remind us of some of the best times we have all year; and they come in so many colors, shapes, and sizes that they offer a world of collecting potential to the ornament connoisseur. Our expert will show you how to get your collection started, and she’ll talk about a few things you need to know when choosing pieces, including determining value, age, how to display, and how to store your collectible Christmas tree ornaments.
