How to Play the Piano

Summary: The piano, a sort of dialect in the language of music, is an amazing instrument for creating beautiful music to reach the people of this world. It is true we aren't born knowing how to make music on a piano that can touch the heart or mind, but we certainly can learn. But piano lessons aren't free...or are they? Each year, many people young and old alike begin learning how to play piano. Many of those people will seek out an instructor to tutor them in their playing ability. Paying for lessons can get costly and some of those lessons may be unnecessary. At Expert Village, all of our music lessons, including piano lessons are free for all musicians and music students of any age.

This video series, led by our piano expert, will guide you on the basics of the piano! You will be coached on everything you need to know to begin your piano playing career. Sit back and learn how the instrument works! You will be shown the inside of a piano and all of the different parts of the instrument. Tuning the instrument will even be covered. Then the fun can begin! Sit down at the bench and lean the correct posture. Our expert will teach the basic notes chords and scales. With practice and dedication you will be pumping out arpeggios and scales. This series will give you the foundation you need to become a great pianist.
