Summary: In these videos you will learn an excellent set of beginner pilates exercises. Even though it has been around since the early 1900s, this form of exercise has only recently burst into the mainstream exercise community within the last few years. In this series you will see demonstrations of several different pilates exercises that can be performed at home with no additional equipment. Exercises such as the “full teaser” and the “single-leg-criss-cross” are great exercises for building core strength and toning your abdominals. Named after its founder Joseph Pilates, pilates is a great way to exercise your inner core muscles. Did you know however, that it is also beneficial to improving your body’s flexibility? Exercises such as the “double leg stretch,” the “front support stretch” and the “c-spine stretch” not only help you get in shape, but also help improve your flexibility. Learn these and many other great pilates exercises in this pilates series for beginners.
