Summary: When most people get a cat they don't think about obedience training. One of the main reasons that this issue doesn’t get much brain time is that potty training is not typically an issue with cats. They usually go in the littler box once they find it and other problems like scratching at furniture don't enter into the equation until later in life. But the truth is that cats need and should get just as much obedience training as dogs – or many will feel as though they rule the home and that you are just in their space. It should be conveyed to your cat that you are the boss and should be obeyed.
In this free video series on training your cat, you will learn tips and techniques about why and how you should train your cat at an early age. There is information explaining the equipment you will need and how to use it, as well as information about how your cat learns from and sees the world. These methods are widely used and will, hopefully, work for you. This is a great series if you value your couch cushions.
