Samantha Marcella has been dancing for thirteen years. She grew up in Las Vegas where she participated in dance competitions and later attended the Las Vegas Academy of International Studies, Visual, and Performing Arts. At the Academy, she received training in Limon, Horton, and Graham modern techniques, ballet, pointe, and jazz dance techniques, as well as theatrical training. She graduated cum laude from Chapman University in Orange, California with her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Dance Performance in May of 2007. All four years at Chapman, she was recognized for Outstanding Performance as well as receiving the Quiet Excellence Award, and the Most Likely to Teach at Chapman Recognition. Currently Samantha dances professionally for Sean Greene in the Gallimaufry & Greene modern dance company.
