Auto CAD stands for Automated Computer Aided Design and it's an architect's best friend.

Auto CAD stands for Automated Computer Aided Design and it's an architect's best friend. It helps them with drawing and organizing blueprints and plans. When someone is building a house or redesigning a room they can survey the area and then the architects can plug in those numbers and Auto CAD draws those lines for you. You can make a blueprint of that and show what the place would look like in 3D. Basically you punch in numbers and telling the computer what designs to use and the computer builds an image of what the house or furniture or anything is going to look like. It's a very cool program
