Homer 500, is a very unique but fun attraction. It is snowmobile racing without the snow. They actually have what they would call a grass dragster for drag racing. They have snowmobiles and ATVs that race
June through August. It's just 20 miles outside of Champaign-Urbana and it's a really very popular and fun thing to participate in or also to go out and enjoy. It's interesting to see snowmobiles racing in the middle of summer when it is 80-90 degrees outside.
