Festivals in Paradise, California

We have three major festivals. One is called Gold Nugget Days and is held in April. It’s a four-day event where we celebrate the discovery of gold here in Paradise. Another is Johnny Apple Seed Days in October, which celebrates our history of apples orchards. We used to be an apple center after the gold rush when people turned to farming as a trade. We are also organizing a new festival called the Chocolate Festival, which of course celebrates chocolate. We will have a Chocolate Queen, various chocolate demonstrations, and every version of chocolate food that you can think of.
