Does acupuncture work for everyone?

The success of acupuncture treatment for conditions such as allergies depends on environmental, genetic, and diet factors.

I have had cases that look the same but have varying results. It is because there are so many other factors involved like environmental factors, genetic factors, or diet. If I'm treating a person for allergies and excess phlegm, I'll tell them to cut down on dairy products to help reduce the phlegm their body is producing. If they tell me no, because they're just going to get acupuncture and do nothing else to help, it can be a slower treatment than someone who cooperates. There is a genetic factor, too. Some people are genetically going to have a harder time than others, no matter what. It will be a struggle to treat them fast and easily.
