Aromatherapy for pets

Aromatherapy essential oils should not be used on pets, babies, or large animals, because their bodies cannot metabolize the oils properly.

I don't recommend that people use essential oils on their pets at all. People need to realize that these oils are strong. Even for a baby we would only use one drop in their bath. Animals quite often need less than a baby. Animals are very sensitive and their metabolisms are different. I have known pets that died because people put oils on them. There are plenty of other proven safe remedies for fleas and such.
