Updo Hairstyles

A popular updo is putting the hair from the front of the crown up and leaving the bottom very long and cascading. Another updo would be to have your hair mostly up and just have the front area down. We do variations of the Gibson; you know some up and some down. We do variations of the French twist, but not as tight. Looser hair with teases all around the face is another nice idea. We do a lot of braiding, a little bit of braiding around the front with loose curly teases, a combination of braiding and curls. It’s not that popular, but some people want one or two braids in their hair. I think that looks really nice. You can use the braids like strands coming down in the front; something like that is nice and it is not as common either.
