How do I take care of white gold?

If you buy any type of white gold you need to make sure that you have the warranty.

If you buy any type of white gold anywhere, whatsoever, you need to make sure that you have the warranty. Make sure you have the warranty for white gold simply because gold is naturally yellow. It's not made to be white gold, the only reason it is white gold, is because there is an extra adhesive that turns it white. Because it's naturally yellow in the beginning, depending on your skin or how often you wear the ring, your white gold ring has to be radium plated (which is that extra additive that turns it white again). So, if you see a white gold ring turning a kind of yellow, it's okay. It's not supposed to be naturally white anyway. Sometimes it is even done twice a year and that is all it ever needs to it. Any jewelry store cleaner is basically going to have all the same things in it. The main ingredient is ammonia.
